Matthew B. Cullen

Matthew is a theatre director and producer whose work grows from a simple idea: invest in the process, and the product will follow. He has developed work across Broadway, Off-Broadway, and regional theatre, and is a Lin-Manuel Miranda Family Artistic and General Management Fellow. He is also the Founder and Executive Producer of MBC Theatrical R&D.

For The Immersion Room, Matthew will take us inside the making of the new play What Oppenheimer (2023) Did Not Show You by Katsuto Sakogashira. Using Moment Work, he will invite the room to help build a scene from scratch, showing in real time how a piece of theatre takes shape.
